Pier Pass Fee Increase NOTICE

Pier Pass Fee, formally known as TMF(Traffic Mitigation Fee), launched in 2005 to lessen the congestion and pollution level in Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports.
The fee is only applicable for containers directly loading and unloading at Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports. therefore, it is not applied for container rail move(IPI move) containers.
This increase became effective on August. 8. 2016.
It is said that the increase resulted from an adjustment Pacific Maritime Association had made in order to reflet increases in labor costs.
